Campina Grande

Campina Grande is the second largest city in Paraíba State, with almost 400 thousand inhabitants. It is situated at a distance of 120 kilometers far from the capital, João Pessoa, where we can find the most beautiful beaches on the coast of Paraíba. Having been considered one of the main industrial centres of the Northeast region and the biggest technological pole in Latin America according to the American Magazine Newsweek, Campina Grande was nominated by Gazeta Mercantil Newspaper, as the most dynamic city in the Northeast and the sixth one in Brazil.

Campina Grande is equipped with airport and very well-preserved highways that link it to the State capital and to the other northeastern cities. The city has a varied cultural agenda and the most highlighted events are the Saint John’s celebrations that happen throughout the month of June, the Winter Festival and the Cinema Festival.

Our main purpose is to welcome participants/spouses/visitors/lecturers, to offer them the best conditions to participate in CBA 2012, and also to offer the best rides, the best restaurants and hotels, and the best trips in Paraiba State.
